England captain Stuart Broad has admitted that Alex Hales's unbeaten century is the best knock that he has seen by an England player in any format.
The 25-year-old became the first England batsman to reach three figures in Twenty20 international cricket with an unbeaten 116 off 64 balls.
Innings from Hales and Eoin Morgan helped guide England to a six-wicket victory over Sri Lanka in their second Group One match of the World T20 Super 10 stage.
"That's one of the best innings I've seen in an England shirt in any format," BBC Sport quotes Broad as saying. "Our next game is under lights and we've got away with it today after an unbelievable knock from two of our guys, but we can't keep dropping people.
"We've got to win both remaining games, but the belief and confidence we'll take from winning this game will be massive."
England's next clash is against South Africa on Saturday.
