England have lost both their opening batsmen cheaply in a disappointing first session on day one of the fourth Test against India.
Nick Compton was dismissed just 20 minutes into the match by Ishant Sharma when he edged the ball to MS Dhoni behind the stumps.
A careful deliberation from the umpires ruled that Sharma had narrowly avoided bowling a no-ball and the first wicket of the day stood.
The umpires were at the heart of the action soon after as Alastair Cook lost his wicket in contentious circumstances.
Sharma did the damage again, getting Cook out lbw for just a single run.
Replays seemed to show the ball hitting the England captain outside the line of off stump, but the decision stood and the skipper left the crease.
Kevin Pietersen and Jonathan Trott battled through to lunch and reached 61-2 with a measured display.
