Jade Dernbach has been ruled out for the remainder of England's one-day international series against Australia.

The bowler suffered a side strain during his team's six-wicket win over the Aussies yesterday afternoon.

Chris Woakes was called up earlier today to replace Dernbach for the third ODI between the two nations at Edgbaston on Wednesday.

However, there is now every chance that Woakes will become a permanent fixture in the squad for the three remaining matches.

England currently lead the series 2-0.
