Joe Root has been rested from England's limited-overs series against Australia.
The 24-year-old batsman will miss the T20 clash and five one-day internationals, which get underway in Cardiff on August 31.
Uncapped Reece Topley is a part of the 13-man T20 squad, meanwhile, and there is also a place for all-rounder Moeen Ali after his omission against New Zealand earlier this summer.
Root was England's leading run-scorer in the 2015 Ashes triumph, which ultimately ended in disappoint for the Three Lions as they succumbed to a heavy fifth-Test defeat.
