Kevin Pietersen has been included in the England squad to face New Zealand in the second Test which will get underway tomorrow evening.
It had been reported that the 32-year-old may be forced to sit out the encounter in Wellington with an injury to his right knee.
However, having come through a training session earlier today, the Surrey batsman has done enough to prove his fitness and as a result has been named in the match squad.
