Pakistan have completed a series whitewash over England by winning the third Test in Dubai by 71 runs this afternoon.
Touring England were set a target of 324 runs to win the match and began the day with opening batsmen Andrew Strauss and Alastair Cook at the crease.
However, Strauss quickly exited for 26, while Cook soon followed him for one short of his half century on 49.
The only player to provide any resistance was Matt Prior, who was unbeaten at the crease when the final wicket fell on 49.
England will lose their ranking as the world's number one Test team if South Africa win the upcoming series against New Zealand 3-0.
