England lose Sam Robson before tea

Sam Robson loses his wicket as England head into the tea break against India on 18-1, trailing by 300 runs.

England failed to get through the eight overs before tea unscathed in their second Test encounter with India at Lord's this afternoon.

The hosts bowled out India during the afternoon session for 342 runs, which has left them with a victory target of 319.

Openers Alastair Cook and Sam Robson started that pursuit, but the latter of those two could only make seven runs before he was trapped lbw by the spin of Ravindra Jadeja.

Captain Cook, along with Gary Ballance, got England through to the tea break on 18-1 and they now have four more sessions to score 301 runs to win the Test.
