Gloucestershire's director of cricket John Bracewell has extended his contract with the county.
The 53-year-old has admitted that he made the decision to sign a new three-year deal because of the amount of potential that Gloucestershire squad possesses.
"At a time when we have lost a good deal of experience in our playing squad I felt it was a good time to solidify the coaching side," he said.
"I am in it for the long haul with a group of players who have enormous potential."
Bracewell has previously been in charge of the New Zealand national team.
