Pakistan set Sri Lanka 285

Pakistan score 284-4 from their innings in the second one-day international against Sri Lanka.

A brilliant performance from Ahmed Shehzad has helped Pakistan to a score of 284-4 from their innings in the second one-day international against Sri Lanka in Dubai.

The opener was not out until the 46th over when he was dismissed LBW by Nuwan Kulasekara, but not before he had taken the attack to the Sri Lankan bowlers.

Shehzad hit eight fours on his way to 124 from 140 balls, but despite his efforts the hosts fell slightly short of the expectations set in the last game with their score of 284 this time around.

Misbah-ul-Haq offered good support to Shehzad with his 59 off 62, and Shahid Afridi offered some late resistance with some big shots, finishing with 30 off 15 deliveries.

The pick of the bowlers was Seekkuge Prasanna with 45-1, and Sri Lanka now require 285 to level the series.
