Pakistan find form on day four against Sri Lanka

Asad Shafiq and Sarfraz Ahmed build a partnership of 137 to bring Pakistan to 259-6 at lunch on day four against Sri Lanka.

Pakistan have bounced back on day four of the first Test against Sri Lanka.

After slipping to 118-5 at the end of day three, a partnership of 137 between Asad Shafiq and Sarfraz Ahmed led Pakistan to a score of 259-6 at lunch.

Shafiq and Ahmed nearly batted for the whole session, but Ahmed was bowled by Dhammika Prasad just four short of the century.

Wahab Riaz added eight before the break, with Shafiq adding 50 more to his total this session, taking his score up to 64.

The match looks likely to finish as a draw, with the teams still in the first innings.
