Melbourne Renegades have moved off the bottom of the Big Bash League table with a 37-run victory at Hobart Hurricanes.
The Renegades posted a score of 163-7 from their 20 overs before they bowled Hobart out for 126 during the last over of the match.
Ben Stokes (77) and Callum Ferguson (31) hit the majority of Melbourne's runs, though Shakib Al Hasan (14) and Tom Beaton (10 not out) were the only other players to reach double figures.
Ben Hilfenhaus ended with bowling figures of 3-32 for Hobart, who also had Jake Reed, Xavier Doherty and Cameron Boyce among the wickets.
Despite modest knocks from Ben Dunk (17), George Bailey (20) and Boyce (15), the Hurricanes were unable to find the necessary runs to trouble Melbourne.
Alex Hales's erratic form with the bat continued with a disappointing seven, while Tim Paine (3) and Jonathan Wells (8) also struggled at the crease before the Renegades clinched the victory with four balls remaining.
Nicholas Winter claimed three wickets for the visitors, with Al Hasan, Peter Siddle, Nathan Rimmington and Fawad Ahmed also playing their part with the ball.
