Lancashire have booked their place in the semi-final of the Friends Life Twenty20 Cup with a 20-run victory over Sussex at Hove.
After Lancs lost Stephen Moore to the second ball of the innings, contributions of 44 and 49 not out from Karl Brown and Paul Horton respectively saw the visitors post a total of 152-8 off 20 overs.
In reply, Chris Nash top scored for Sussex with 31 but the home side could only record 132-8 off their 20 overs.
Lancashire will now meet Leicestershire in the semi-final, while Hampshire and Somerset will contest the other final spot.
