Report: AB de Villiers to be banned if he breaches over-rate laws again

AB de Villiers faces a one-match ban if he breaches over-rate laws for a second time, according to reports.

South Africa captain AB de Villiers is on the verge of a one-match suspension, according to reports.

South Africa were fined for maintaining a slow over rate during their heavy defeat to India yesterday, having been ruled to be behind by approximately one over.

Cricket.com reports that if South Africa are in breach of this again before the final then the 31-year-old will be given a one-match ban.

This isn't a new issue for De Villiers, who has been fined twice in the last year for the same offence.
