Kumar Sangakkara struck his fourth successive century to help Sri Lanka on their way to 363-9 against Scotland in this morning's Cricket World Cup clash.
The left-handed batsman became the first player to achieve the feat in one-day international cricket by hitting 124 off 95 balls to go alongside his previous tons against Bangladesh, Australia and England.
Sangakkara, who was eventually caught out by Matthew Cross, stepped up one ball after teammate Tillakaratne Dilshan had himself reached the 100 mark to well and truly punish Scotland.
Lions skipper Angelo Matthews (51) was the next highest scorer having racked up a half-century of his own in Hobart, while Kusal Perera (24) and Nuwan Kulasekara (18*) kept things ticking along nicely.
Things actually started off slowly for Sri Lanka as Lahiru Thirimanne fell for just four runs, although Scotland, still without a win at this year's tournament, soon came unstuck due to the 195-run partnership of Sangakkara and Dilshan.
