India captain Virat Kohli has entered a deal to play matches for Surrey this summer.
The batsman, who is regarded as one of the best in the world, will feature in at least six games for the English outfit.
Kohli has signed an agreement to play in three County Championship matches and at least three One-Day Cup games.
"It's long been an ambition of mine to play county cricket and I'm thankful to Alec Stewart and Surrey for allowing me the opportunity," BBC Sport quotes Kohli as saying.
Kohli, who will lead India in a five-match Test series in England starting on August 1, could make his Surrey debut against Kent at Beckenham in the One-Day Cup on June 1.
