West Indies set Australia target of 192 in T20

West Indies set Australia a target of 192 to win the one and only Twenty20 international in Brisbane.

Australia will have to score 192 in their innings to win the one and only Twenty20 international in Brisbane.

The visitors won the toss and decided to bat first, placing Chris Gayle and Johnson Charles at the crease to get their innings off to a strong start.

Despite Gayle's threat with the bat, the 33-year-old was unable to find his rhythm and Australia snatched an early wicket through Jason Hazlewood, who dismissed Gayle for just eight runs.

Charles had a more steady time at the crease by surpassing a half-century before getting bowled out by Nathan Coulter-Nile for 57.

Despite a positive stint for Darren Bravo, the batsman was eventually run out for 32, while Kieron Pollard (26) and Dwayne Bravo (13) also contributed to the run-rate.

Darren Sammy added 20 more runs from seven balls before leaving the field, while Narsingh Deonarine remained unbeaten on six as West Indies closed their innings on 191-6 after 20 overs.
