West Indies lose two wickets before lunch against New Zealand

New Zealand manage to take two West Indian wickets in the opening session on day two of the second Test in Port of Spain.

New Zealand have managed to take two West Indian wickets in the opening session on day two of the second Test in Port of Spain.

Starting the day on 6-1 and 221 runs behind, the home side went into the break on 124-3, 97 runs behind the Black Caps.

After getting rid of danger man Chris Gayle (1) quickly yesterday, New Zealand got an early wicket on day two when Tim Southee bowled Sulieman Benn for just four runs.

That brought Kirk Edwards (55) to the crease and he put on a 93-run partnership with Kraigg Braithwaite before edging an Ish Sodhi delivery through to BJ Watling.

Braithwaite remains at the crease on 48 not out and is joined by Darren Bravo (10 not out).
