British cyclist Jonathan Tiernan-Locke has revealed that he will fight against the doping charges brought against him by the UCI.
The international governing body announced today that they have opened disciplinary proceedings against the 28-year-old with regards to an anomaly in his biological passport.
A statement from Tiernan-Locke's management company said: "Mr Tiernan-Locke vehemently denies the charges brought against him and has informed the UCI that he fully intends to contest them."
The Plymouth-born rider currently competes for Team Sky.
