The International Cycling Union will endorse or reject the United States Anti-Doping Agency's report on Lance Armstrong in a press conference on Monday.

The International Cycling Union are expected to respond to the evidence of doping against American cyclist Lance Armstrong on Monday.

The governing body will hold a press conference next week after studying the 1,000-page report, which accused the 41-year-old of running "the most sophisticated, professionalised and successful doping programme the sport has ever seen".

The UCI have so far been quiet on these findings but it has been announced that they will endorse or reject the allegations, which resulted in a lifetime ban and the removal of Armstrong's record seven Tour de France titles following his decision not to fight the case against him.

Global sports brand Nike terminated their sponsorship of Armstrong this week, despite initially standing by the cyclist.
