The United States Anti-Doping Agency has said that they expect their report into Lance Armstrong's lifetime ban to be ready by October 15.
The report is expected to confirm or deny whether the former cyclist should have been stripped of his seven Tour de France titles.
"USADA is in the process of finalising the written reasoned decision in its US Postal Services pro cycling doping case," USADA's Annie Skinner said.
"We will provide the reasoned decision addressing the lifetime bans and disqualifications imposed to the UCI and World Anti-Doping Agency as provided for under the world rules. We expect it to be sent no later than October 15."
The 41-year-old strongly denies accusations of using banned substances as far back as 1996.
