Four-time Olympic gold medalist and last year's Tour de France champion Sir Bradley Wiggins has praised this year's winner Chris Froome for his climbing ability.
Froome won the gruelling 2013 hill edition of the Tour by more than four minutes, with Wiggins admitting that he would not have been able to keep up with the Team Sky rider this year.
"Chris's performance was dominant," Sky Sports News quotes Wiggins as saying. "He is probably the best climber in world at the moment.
"I have never been the best climber. I can climb, but my specialties have always been the time trials and working back from that. A Tour like this year, Chris is the stronger rider."
The Kenya-born rider was reportedly given a Jaguar following his win.
