Race leader Vincenzo Nibali has won stage 13 of the Tour de France from Saint-Etienne to Chamrousse.
The 29-year-old Astana rider stayed within the peloton for most of the day, but managed to move to the front of the pack with five kilometres to go.
Nibali, who retains the yellow jersey, produced a large gap between his competitors with around three kilometres left to ride before becoming the first Italian to win back-to-back mountain stages since 1998.
Rafal Majka finished second and Leopold Konig third.
