American sprinter Richard Browne has said that he was never worried about British rival Jonnie Peacock at next month's IPC World Championships.
Peacock, 22, has had to pull out of the Championships due to a leg injury.
Browne, who was runner-up to Peacock at London 2012 in the T44, has said that his exclusion will make no difference.
"Jonnie hasn't really run well over the last year and a half," he told BBC Sport. "Jonnie has always been injury prone, which is unfortunate not only for amputee sprinting but for British Athletics and the whole sport.
"To be quite frank I've beaten Jonnie for the last two years. He was the least of my worries, to be honest with you."
Browne has run quicker times than Peacock this year and beat him at the IPC Anniversary Games in London in July.
