Amanda Holden joins new BBC talent series I Can See Your Voice

Amanda Holden, Alison Hammond and Jimmy Carr are named as judges on the new BBC singing series I Can See Your Voice.

Britain's Got Talent judge Amanda Holden has been named as one of the regular panellists on the BBC's new series I Can See Your Voice.

The show - to be hosted by Paddy McGuinness - sees a number of good and bad singers take to the stage in turn, with the panellists prevented from hearing them and instead having to rely solely on sight to determine who are the genuinely talented performers.

Holden will be joined on the panel by This Morning favourite Alison Hammond and comedian Jimmy Carr, as well as a different popstar guest each week.

"I've seen first-hand over my many years as a judge how acts can shock you with an incredible voice," said Holden, who will continue as a judge on BGT in addition to the new role.

"With my experience on stage, television and radio I think I have one of the best pair of eyes in the business for spotting talent so the masqueraders will really have to up their game to fool me!"

I Can See Your Voice will air on BBC One early next year.
