Channel 4 has announced plans to broadcast a debate between the three contenders vying to take over as the new Scottish First Minister.
Later this month Scotland will have a new leader following the surprise resignation of Nicola Sturgeon from the role last month.
Members of the SNP party will be responsible for selecting the person to take over and have three candidates on their ballot papers - Kate Forbes, Humza Yousaf and Ash Regan.
The C4 debate will be hosted by experienced hand Krishnan Guru-Murthy and will see the trio answer questions on pre-determined topics including Scottish independence and the economy.
Esme Wren, Channel 4 News editor, said: "In April 2021, Channel 4 News hosted the first ever national television debate with all the party leaders in Scotland.
"This time, one of the three SNP candidates will become first minister automatically, so it's vital that viewers across the whole of the UK get an insight into their politics and policies."
The 30-minute debate will air on Channel 4 next Thursday, March 9 at 7pm.
Elsewhere, STV has scheduled a debate for Tuesday, March 7 at 9pm, while BBC One Scotland will host its own on Tuesday, March 14 at 8pm.
