Dominic Raab will reportedly be approached about hosting his own show on GB News following his resignation as Deputy Prime Minister.

GB News is reportedly planning to approach Dominic Raab about hosting his own show following his resignation as Deputy Prime Minister.

Earlier today Raab, 49, stepped down from his post following the conclusion of an investigation into his interactions with members of the civil service, with several of them having accused him of bullying, claims he has strongly denied.

GB News already has a number of current and former politicians on its books, with the likes of Jacob Rees-Mogg, Esther McVey, Philip Davies, Nigel Farage, Michael Portillo and Lee Anderson all hosting shows on the channel.

"[Raab] would do very well for us and it is rare that somebody of his calibre comes along," a senior GB News source told The Express.

"Jacob is already very popular with our viewers as are Esther and Philip. He would be a good fit for us."

The broadcaster has also been linked with an ambitious approach for former Prime Minister Liz Truss.
