New classic TV channel Rewind TV to launch next month
A new nostalgic channel called Rewind TV is to launch via Sky next month, it has been announced.

A new channel dedicated to showing classic British TV shows, Rewind TV, is to launch free-to-air via Sky on May 23.

A promo video for the new station suggests that programmes in the schedule will include the likes of Whose Line Is It Anyway?, The Mrs Merton Show, Watching, Surgical Spirit, Drop The Dead Donkey and The Prisoner.

A description on the channel's official website reads: "Rewind Television is the destination channel for lovers of curated classic TV from around the world.

"Targeted at a 55+ demographic, it will feature rarely-seen, critically-acclaimed serial drama and comedy, as well as iconic shows that rank among the most loved TV shows of all time."
