WWE Network signs exclusive deal with Peacock in US

US streaming service Peacock will become the exclusive home to the WWE Network from mid-March.

WWE has signed an exclusive deal with NBC that will see its WWE Network become part of streaming service Peacock from March.

WWE Network comprises a 24-hour streamed channel as well as over 17,000 hours of library content and is currently available in the US and around the world for a monthly fee.

In an announcement on Monday, NBC confirmed that effective from March 18, WWE Network will become a branded channel within Peacock - including the live channel, PPV and the archive programming - available at no additional cost to subscribers of Peacock Premium and Peacock Premium Plus.

Outside of the US, WWE Network will continue to operate as an independent streaming service, although in the UK there is future potential for an alternative arrangement as NBC's owner Comcast also controls Sky.

Peacock is also the US home for 175 live games from the Premier League.
