Next week on Emmerdale, Liam (Jonny McPherson) is left full of anguish and anger following the death of his daughter Leanna (Mimi Slinger) on her 18th birthday.
The residents of the village grieve for the youngster, believing her death to be just a tragic accident - unaware that she was brutally thrown to her death by murderous Meena (Paige Sandhu).
Meena's delighted when she learns that the police believe Leanna's death to be non-suspicious and smiles triumphantly as she plays with the engagement ring she stole from Leanna's body.
Meanwhile, Gabby, Liv and Jacob struggle to process the news that Leanna is gone and decide to make a community memorial to her on the bridge.
When Liam sees the memorial, however, he becomes enraged and lashes out at Liv and Jacob, blaming them for what happened, before he starts to rip apart the flowers left for Leanna.
