The Czech Republic have confirmed that Benny Cristo has been reselected for next year's Eurovision Song Contest.
This year's show was due to take place in Rotterdam this Saturday but was cancelled due to coronavirus, with competition rules preventing artists from resubmitting the same songs next year.
The rules do not prohibit artists from returning in successive years, however, and many countries have already confirmed that the act that was due to participate this year will instead compete in 2021 - including Australia, Greece, Belgium, Spain and Azerbaijan.
Czech Republic became the latest country to confirm likewise on Wednesday, with 32-year-old Cristo - also a former European jiu-jitsu champion - due to return having been originally due to compete with his song 'Kemama'.
All 41 artists that would have competed this Saturday will be honoured in a special celebratory show, Eurovision: Europe Shine A Light, on BBC One.
