Dadi Freyr and Gagnamagnid to represent Iceland at Eurovision 2021

Dadi Freyr and Gagnamagnid are chosen to represent Iceland again at the rearranged Eurovision Song Contest in 2021.

Dadi Freyr and Gagnamagnid have been reselected to represent Iceland at next year's Eurovision Song Contest.

The act were among the favourites to win the event this year with their song 'Think About Things' but due to coronavirus the contest was called off.

Under Eurovision rules, acts that were due to compete in 2020 may be reselected for 2021 but they may not reuse the same song, meaning that they will be unable to compete with 'Think About Things'.

Announcing the news on Twitter, Freyr wrote: "Eurovision 2021! I'm coming back next year and Gagnamagnid is joining me!

"So I guess I'm writing another Eurovision song. Thank you for all the support!"

Eurovision 2021 will be held in Rotterdam in late May.
