The 1975 are reportedly being lined up for the Friday night headliner slot at next year's Glastonbury Festival.
The pop-rock group, fronted by Matty Healy, have played the festival three times in the past, including a set on the Other Stage, but have never played the iconic Pyramid.
According to The Sun, festival organiser Emily Eavis has been keen to sign the band in the past and is hopeful that 2025 could be the year that it happens.
A source told the newspaper: "Matty and his bandmates are more than ready to play the Pyramid Stage and they are available.
"Festival organiser Emily Eavis has long wanted The 1975 on board, but they couldn't make it work this year.
"They are being lined up for the Friday slot at the moment, and all the signs are really positive."
Also said to be in line for next year's festival, which takes place from June 25 to June 29, are Harry Styles and Ed Sheeran, the latter of whom could play "a special slot" on Friday before resuming his European tour.
