Jools Holland signs up for Celebrity Gogglebox

Jools Holland joins the lineup for the second series of Channel 4's Celebrity Gogglebox.

Music maestro Jools Holland has signed up to appear in the new series of Celebrity Gogglebox.

The 62-year-old pianist is said to be a huge fan of the show and has found time in his diary to feature in the new series, which begins this Friday on Channel 4.

Later... with Jools Holland has been a staple part of the BBC schedules for 28 years and is currently airing its 55th series in a 10pm timeslot on BBC Two, just after Celebrity Gogglebox comes off air.

"Jools loves Gogglebox and has been wanting to get involved for a while," a source told The Sun. "It was a struggle with his schedule but he has found time to appear.

"Jools is a real character and is very funny so the producers are excited to see what he can bring to the table."

Other new faces on the series include Zoe Ball and son Woody Cook, Love Island hosting duo Laura Whitmore and Iain Stirling, and Harry Redknapp and his wife Sandra.
