'Good Morning Britain' extended to four hours

Good Morning Britain will be extended by one hour on Monday for additional coverage of the coronavirus crisis.

ITV's flagship morning show Good Morning Britain is being extended from three hours to four hours tomorrow as the coronavirus crisis intensifies in the UK.

Piers Morgan will front a four-hour edition of the show from 6am to 10am, with Charlotte Hawkins co-hosting until 9am.

Susanna Reid is self-isolating at home after one of her sons showed symptoms of the disease but will also co-host the show via webcam.

Lorraine usually follows GMB but has been dropped on Monday, although Lorraine Kelly will take over co-hosting duties alongside Morgan from 9am.

Morgan has been highly critical of Prime Minister Boris Johnson on Twitter for his response to the crisis, while he has also turned on Lord Alan Sugar, branding him "pathetic" for not using his wealth to help the NHS.
