E4 will air the next season of Married At First Sight Australia immediately after the current run ends, the broadcaster has confirmed.
The controversial dating show sees couples meet each other for the first time when they walk down the aisle, having been matched by dating experts, before getting hitched straight away.
The series then follows the couples as they get to know each other on their honeymoons, move in together and meet the in-laws - ultimately making a choice on whether they want to stay married or split up.
MAFS is a huge hit down under and made its UK debut on E4 at the end of June, airing weekday nights from 7.30pm to 9pm.
The series has subsequently become the channel's highest-rated show and is drawing close to a million viewers every evening, according to ratings data from BARB.
Following that success E4 has purchased the rights to season five - first shown in Australia in 2018 - and will play it out in the same slot starting from Monday, August 10, the week after season four concludes.
