Regina Hall, Amy Schumer and Wanda Sykes have been named as the joint hosts of this year's Oscars ceremony.
Last year the ceremony was staged in unusual circumstances at Union Station in LA due to coronavirus restrictions but the most prestigious event of awards season will return to its usual home of the Dolby Theatre next month.
Announcing this year's hosts, ABC entertainment president Craig Erwich said: "Imagine having one of the funniest women in comedy today hosting the Oscars... Now, multiply that by three.
"Regina, Amy and Wanda are comedy powerhouses who will make history as the first female trio to host the biggest night in entertainment, and we're thrilled to have them at the helm to deliver an incredible show full of unforgettable moments and laughter."
Leading the way in this year's nominations is western The Power of the Dog, with 12 nods, while Denis Villeneuve's sci-fi epic Dune has 10.
The 2022 Academy Awards take place on Sunday, March 27.
