The director of the upcoming Godzilla movie has promised that "something very big is coming to San Diego" this week.
In a video message, Gareth Edwards directed fans to the viral website GodzillaEncounter.com, which suggests that "a massive oceanic anomaly is approaching the California coast".
Godzilla - due for release May 2014 - will be previewed in a Comic-Con panel on Saturday.
