Jack Whitehall is confirmed to return as host of the Brit Awards after four years.

Jack Whitehall will host this year's Brit Awards in March, it has been announced.

The comedian previously compered the UK music industry's flagship event for four successive years from 2018 to 2021, with Mo Gilligan taking the reins in 2022 and 2023.

A trio of presenters - Roman Kemp, Maya Jama and Clara Amfo - jointly hosted last year, but this year Whitehall is returning to oversee proceedings at The O2 on Saturday, March 1.

"They say that absence makes the heart grow fonder, and that is absolutely the case with The BRIT Awards," he said. "It is my favourite night of the year, and I am delighted to be invited back to host in 2025."

Damian Christian, chair of the BRIT committee for 2025, added: "I'm excited that we've been able to bring Jack back to host for a fifth time.

"Jack is a true professional who makes one of the toughest gigs on TV look effortless. His cutting wit will keep everyone on their toes, while his charm and humour will make the audience at home feel closer to the awards."

This year's nominations are due to be revealed later this month.
