Alan Carr to pay "tribute" to Sir Bruce Forsyth

Alan Carr reveals that he will pay tribute to the legendary Sir Bruce Forsyth in his new ITV series Epic Gameshow.

Alan Carr has revealed that he will pay tribute to the late Sir Bruce Forsyth by using some of his most iconic catchphrases in a new ITV series.

Epic Gameshow revives five classic gameshows, including classic Brucie series Play Your Cards Right and The Price Is Right.

The entertainer died of pneumonia aged 89 in 2017 after a career in the business spanning more than 70 years, hosting some of the biggest shows on British television, including The Generation Game and Strictly Come Dancing.

"There will be a tribute to Brucie, of course," Carr told The Mirror of Epic Gameshow, which starts next month. "We got some old photos out. We have filmed it already and it works. The energy in the room when I did it was amazing.

"We used all the old catchphrases like, 'Nothing for a pair. Not in this game'. It was so amazing to do."

Other classics being revived on Epic Gameshow include Strike It Lucky, Bullseye and Take Your Pick.
