Alison Steadman's online Gavin & Stacey quiz night has raised more than £40,000 for the cancer charity Marie Curie.
Almost 20,000 people tuned in to watch the 73-year-old - a.k.a. Pam Shipman - ask questions about the hit comedy.
The event, which also featured a guest appearance from Steadman's on-screen son Mat Horne (Gavin), is part of a series of quizzes hosted by celebrities in aid of the charity.
Learning the total that she had raised, an emotional Steadman said: "That's such an immense sum, that will make such a difference. That's wonderful - my heartfelt thanks."
Details of how to donate can be found on the Marie Curie UK quiz page.
