Katie Price's son Harvey facing "critical" 48 hours

Katie Price's disabled son Harvey remains in intensive care and reportedly faces a "critical" 48 hours.

Katie Price's son Harvey remains in intensive care and reportedly faces a "critical" 48 hours ahead in a battle with a mystery illness.

The 18-year-old was first taken to hospital a fortnight ago but was diagnosed with a chest infection and discharged - although last night he was admitted to intensive care after his temperature shot up to 42 degrees and he started to struggle to breathe.

"Harvey has been stabilised but he's being monitored around the clock by doctors," a source told the newspaper. "Katie's trying to stay strong and is going back to the hospital this morning.

"The next 48 hours are critical. Harvey just really needs to do well over the next couple of days."

A family spokesperson added: "Harvey's siblings are all deeply worried but cannot visit him in intensive care, as of yet."

Harvey's illness is not coronavirus-related but it is believed to be linked to his previous hospitalisation.
