Kim Kardashian returns to LA after teary visit to Kanye West

Kim Kardashian returns to Los Angeles alone after an emotional visit to her husband in Wyoming.

Kim Kardashian has returned to Los Angeles by herself after briefly reuniting with her husband Kanye West on Monday.

The 39-year-old made the trip to Wyoming to see Kanye amid fears that he is suffering from a serious episode of his bipolar disorder after a string of worrying events in recent weeks.

In a Twitter rant a week ago, Kanye claimed that he had been trying to divorce Kim for almost two years and branded her mother Kris Jenner a "white supremacist", before backtracking and asking for her forgiveness.

Paparazzi pictures taken on Monday showed Kanye and Kim having an emotional conversation at a drive-thru Wendy's restaurant near his ranch in Wyoming, with The Sun alleging that she told him not to return to LA until he is well enough.

"Kim knows he feels Wyoming calms him, and LA can be stressful," a source told the newspaper.

"She's told him not to come back until he feels ready. In truth, I think she's trying to shelter their children from what's going on until he's better - she's super-protective of them. The children come first.

"She would never stop Kanye seeing his children but both parents want their kids to be unaffected by what's going on."

Despite his apparent troubles, Kanye appears serious about his presidential bid and has now filed paperwork to get on the ballot in four states.
