Kim Woodburn: "My loves, you can't sit in the park"

Kim Woodburn urges the public not to make the most of the warm weather this Easter weekend.

Kim Woodburn has urged the British public to continue to observe government rules on leaving the home on what is likely to be an extremely warm Easter weekend.

Due to the ongoing spread of the deadly coronavirus, members of the public are only permitted to leave home for exercise, collecting essential supplies or delivering care packages to vulnerable family and friends.

Warm weather last weekend saw those rules flouted around the country, with groups gathering in public to sunbathe and have picnics.

Speaking in her latest Twitter video, Woodburn - self-isolating at home with her husband - said: "My loves, let's try and obey these coronavirus rules. I know a lot of us do and we're very, very good, but there are those of us that don't you know, and they're going out in the parks.

"I believe it's gonna be quite a decent weekend. My loves, you can't sit in the park. You know you're not allowed to, you're really not. Walking through the park, a quick brisk walk, or when you're on the move, but you really can't go and sit and have picnics. Because if everybody sat beside you and they all did the same, the grass would be full of people. If they can't do it you can't do it my loves.

"Be well, don't get too bored, make the most of your time in the house."

The 78-year-old went on to reveal that her husband has been passing the time indoors by "sorting his tools out" while she has been organising her "lingerie cupboards".
