Phillip Schofield launches own wine range

This Morning's Phillip Schofield launches his own range of boxed wines at Waitrose.

This Morning host Phillip Schofield has launched his own boxed wine range at Waitrose.

The 58-year-old has teamed up with wine procurement company When In Rome to attach his name to a variety of ethically-sourced wines from independent Italian vineyards.

The range includes the "Phillip Schofield Nero di Troia", described as "super fruity with a fragrant nose, and just a little spice" and available in a 2.25L box for £24.99.

Schofield said: "I wanted figures on how eco-friendly box wine was and I wanted it to be good value. The result is something I felt I could really invest in.

"I have really enjoyed the process of sourcing, selecting and now sharing these wines with everyone. I don't think there is anything I have been so passionate about, so I hope everyone enjoys them as much as I do."

The range is available now.
