Rebecca Humphries has joined the cast of The Crown season four in the role of Carol Thatcher.
The 33-year-old is known for playing Caroline in the BBC Two drama Trigonometry and also had a role in the final episode of the most recent series of Friday Night Dinner playing one of the Lucys.
The fourth season of The Crown will cover the period from 1977 to 1990 with heavy emphasis on the premiership of Margaret Thatcher, to be played by Gillian Anderson.
Humphries will play the late PM's daughter Carol, who was 25 when her mother entered Downing Street and returned from a burgeoning media career in Australia to move in to Number 10.
Stephen Boxer has been cast as Denis Thatcher, while Cucumber's Freddie Fox will play Carol's twin brother Mark.
The Crown season four is released on Netflix on November 15.
