Celebs including Kim Woodburn, Jade Thirlwall and Claire Sweeney attend the funeral of The Vivienne, who died at the age of 32 earlier this month.

The funeral of James Lee Williams, better known as RuPaul's Drag Race winner The Vivienne, has taken place in North Wales.

The much-loved queen was discovered dead - at the age of just 32 - at a property in Cheshire by their father earlier this month, having appeared on stage just days earlier.

Many of The Vivienne's friends from the world of entertainment turned out for the service at St Margaret's Church in Denbighshire, including Kim Woodburn, Ian Watkins, aka H from Steps, Jade Thirlwall, Marcus Collins, Jayde Adams, Aston Merrygold, Claire Sweeney and Jennifer Ellison.

Among those representing the Drag Race family were Tia Kofi, Baga Chipz and Danny Beard for an event which saw many mourners opt to wear bright colours rather than the traditional black attire.

The Vivienne's crown and sceptre she won on Drag Race accompanied their coffin as it was taken into the church, and afterwards the coffin was led away by horse and carriage as six white doves were released.

Speaking after the service, Woodburn told BBC News: "He was just a lovely young man. I came along today because he was always imitating me! I'm very sad - 32 years of age and we'll never see the likes again.

"And I'm just so sad, my love... a lovely young man, a sad loss."
