Katie Price has revealed that she intends to tie the knot with boyfriend Carl Woods within six months so that her terminally-ill mother can attend.
The couple revealed last month that they are engaged after dating for a little over a year and are now full steam ahead with plans for a "very different" ceremony.
Price's mother Amy, 64, suffers from idiopathic pulmonary fibrosis, meaning that her lungs are becoming increasingly scarred and her ability to breathe is progressively decreasing.
Talking about the wedding on today's Good Morning Britain, Price said: "We've discussed it with his parents yesterday and my mum.
"They came up at the weekend and met all the parents. And obviously, my mum's terminally ill... and she said she wants us to get married so she sees it."
Woods, 32, added: "We'll get married this year and it will be very different to everything Kate's done before."
"Completely different," she continued. "My dress will be different, I will look different and my mind is different.
"I know so many people out there are like 'Yeah we've heard this before' – yeah because before I've rushed into things so much, made wrong choices, but my head wasn't right. My head is so right now, I'm a different person."
Woods is Price's eighth engagement and will become her fourth husband, following on from Peter Andre, Alex Reid and Kieran Hayler.
