Big Brother hosts AJ Odudu and Will Best could reportedly replace Mo Gilligan as host of the next Brit Awards.

Big Brother presenting duo AJ Odudu and Will Best could reportedly replace Mo Gilligan as host of the 2024 Brit Awards.

Last month the comedian announced that he will not be returning to oversee the Brits - the most prestigious event on the UK music calendar - as he will be embarking upon his first UK tour.

A number of names have since been linked with the role, including Love Island presenter Maya Jama, but The Sun says that BB hosts Odudu and Best are the new frontrunners.

"No-one was really sure how things were going to pan out after they were announced to host Big Brother but both AJ and Will have gone down amazingly with bosses and viewers at home," a source told the newspaper.

"After six years of solo hosts, a double act would really give the show a new feel, but right now, nothing has been decided beyond the list of potentials drawn up by the organisers."

The awards are due to take place at The O2 in London on March 2, 2024.
