Andrew Neil is to present a one-off documentary for Channel 4 in his first major TV project since his ill-fated stint with GB News.
The veteran journalist hosted just two weeks of his flagship primetime programme on GB News when it launched last June, later quitting after a spectacular fallout with the channel's management which played out in the press.
Now he is confirmed to be returning to screens this Sunday with a fast turnaround documentary exploring the current turmoil at number 10, Boris Johnson: Has He Run Out of Road?
In the one-hour special, Neil will interview key figures surrounding the Conservative Party crisis, including former Brexit negotiator David Frost, 'Red Wall' MP Lee Anderson and ex-Brexit secretary David Davis.
Louisa Compton, head of news and current affairs at C4, said: "With Boris Johnson's future as UK Prime Minister seemingly hanging on a knife edge – who better to examine how we got here and what could happen next than Britain's leading political journalist Andrew Neil?
"This timely film underlies the channel's commitment to producing distinctive, thought-provoking and outstanding journalism."
The programme airs at 7pm on Sunday on Channel 4.
