HBO has confirmed that acclaimed drama Succession will return for a fourth season.
The news comes just two episodes into the broadcast of season three of the drama, which follows an ageing media mogul and his dysfunctional, cutthroat family.
The current season returned with 1.3m viewers in the US, a rise of 13% on season two, and the show continues to dominate the cultural zeitgeist.
Francesca Orsi, evp of programming at HBO, said: "With each season of Succession, [creator] Jesse Armstrong has continued to surpass our wildest expectations, pulling us deeper into the Roy family's inner sanctum with indelible wit, humanity, and precision.
"This season is undoubtedly no exception, and we couldn't be more excited for all that's in store in this next season ahead."
Succession continues Sunday nights on HBO in the US and Mondays on Sky Atlantic in the UK.
